Hi, my name is Nigel Bailey and I set up my own photography business called Reflect Photography in 2009.  It is a small, local photography business, based in Southampton, Hampshire.  I see being a small business as a great advantage.  It means I can respond quickly and flexibly to whatever I am asked to do

I have been a keen photography enthusiast for many years.  My interest in photography began 30 years ago, joining my school's photographic society and printing mono pictures in the old-fashioned way - with real film and chemicals! But times move on, thank goodness!  The photographic world is changed beyond recognition and wedding photography perhaps the most.

I trained with Ray Davenport Photography and completed the Professional Wedding and Portraiture Course in 2009. The course has been approved by the Master Photographers Association. Since then I have photographed a number of weddings and a variety of other social events, such as birthdays, anniversaries and concerts.

For me, the ideal wedding is one where I can concentrate on taking a contemporary portfolio of photographs showing you having a great day. This means not too many “Groups”, candid shots of you and your guests enjoying yourselves, and some well planned “romantic/classic” bride-and-groom portraits. What I won’t do, is turn your wedding day into an endless photo-shoot.
